Our Mission

The Nigerian Community website exists for one purpose – to give Nigerians living outside Nigeria, particularly those living in United States, the information they need to succeed daily. We also aim to expose businesses and organizations owned by members of the community to everyone in and outside the community.

Our Mission: To be the place Nigerians living in U.S.A., and all over the world come to daily to get news, learn about community events and engage in conversations that impact their lives and families.

We hope to accomplish this by staying focused on the community and by being transparent, genuine, and helpful to the community.

The Goal of The Nigerian Community – the Website

1. We will give every Nigerian living in the U.S. useful information that helps him or her make the right decision as they go about their daily lives – immigration, community news and community events, U.S. law, etc.
2. We will help unite our community by bringing us together through cultural activities and community events coverage
3. We will create and nourish trustworthy community relationships that enable us to work with each other by sharing our dreams, knowledge, skills and expertise
4. We will bring Nigerian owned businesses and community organizations the publicity they deserve, and expose them to the international community so they can grow beyond their immediate boundaries
5. We will highlight the progress made by our community including our children’s achievements in education, movies, technology, business, sports and more
6. We will lift up our community’s cultural events and allow the world to see how culturally diverse, and rich we truly are
7. We will give every Nigerian the forum he or she needs to express his or her opinion on any topic of their choosing
