In a notice dated March 13, 2020, the Nigerian Embassy in Washington, D.C., said that as a “preventative measure put in place by the United States Government amidst the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak,” the Embassy will suspend all passport biometrics and interviews.

It is not clear however, if that still holds true as The Nigerian Community has been unable to reach any officials to confirm this, despite repeated efforts to do so.
